May News Letter Garner Lodge 701

   Brethren,

  We apparently had some mailing problems with the last newsletter because some of them were not received until recently. I apologize if yours was late.

  May is almost here! That means the Golf Tournament is closer that ever and we need your help. This is our main fundraiser this year so please promote all you can and come and play. Its open to anyone who wants to bring a team (4 man Super Ball). Play starts at 12 PM may 5^th with Gift Certificates from the Angus Barn, shirts, hats, golf balls, free rounds of golf, a golf bag and several other item as prizes. We also have an autographed photo of Arnold Palmer at St. Andrews the last year he played in the tournament there for our silent auction.

  Our Masonic education continues to be interesting and has generated some good conversations and improved our lodge work as well. We have a candidate for initiation next meeting so please come if you can.

  Congratulations again to our life members who received their certificates at the last meeting. The Past Masters were recognized with certificates too so for those who were not there you should be getting one soon. Our members who wanted Master Mason certificates also received those at the last meeting too. If you would like a certificate please let the secretary know we still have some if you want one.
